The locals were more than friendly, Tourism is their major industry since Ivan destroyed all of their agriculture and left 95% of the island population homeless.
Our driver told us that it was laundry day and told us that the women would be doing their Laundry...further up the river just out of sight were even more.
That is a great picture of the locals. I've never come across seeing such people when we've traveled.
